Description
Patrick Boch practices in tax, chancery and commercial law, and is an experienced advocate.
He has acted as counsel in arbitrations administered by the LCIA, AAA and the CIArb, including an arbitration concerning a commercial surrogacy dispute. He also has experience drafting complex, multi-party arbitration agreements, and a niche specialism in fertility law.
He has particular expertise in tax-related civil disputes involving e.g. contractual clauses on liability to tax or professional negligence claims.
He is well placed to act in international and cross-border disputes. As a dual-qualified Indian Advocate, he would accept appointments based on Indian law, including where the seat of arbitration were India.
He is a Chartered Tax Adviser, holding the Avery Jones Medal for the highest result in his application paper, and has acted as an expert witness on UK customs and excise law in a commercial dispute before a Polish court.
