Jennifer has over 20 years of experience as a barrister at a leading commercial chancery set.  She is also a fellow of CIArb and a CEDR accredited mediator.  

She has acted as co-arbitrator, sole arbitrator and presiding arbitrator in disputes in a wide range of sectors including financial services, professional services, pharmaceuticals, property and media. She has conducted ad hoc arbitrations and LCIA arbitrations.  One of the LCIA arbitrations was conducted on an expedited basis and the award was delivered within eight weeks of appointment. Having qualified and practised as a doctor prior to joining the Bar, Jennifer is particularly well placed to deal with life sciences and pharmaceuticals disputes.

She has also been appointed to carry out expert determinations.

Jennifer’s experience as counsel has an emphasis on disputes between members of partnerships, LPs, LLPs, companies and joint ventures, disputes involving alleged breaches of fiduciary duty/good faith/fraud and trust disputes.  She is ranked in Tier 1 by the leading directories for Partnership. 

Foreign laws, including the laws of Russia, France, Switzerland, Germany and Djibouti have been a feature of many of Jennifer’s cases.

Jennifer is an experienced mediator, recommended by Legal 500, with particular experience of mediating difficult partnership/JV disputes, in person or online.

Her experience of litigating and arbitrating partnership and JV disputes and mediating a wide range of disputes has made her particularly interested in the swift and efficient resolution of disputes.
