Divya is experienced as counsel, representing and advising national and international clients in a wide range of business sectors (including energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, shipping, hospitality and leisure, and life sciences). She specialises in cross border commercial disputes under English and Indian law and investor-state disputes.
She has successfully represented clients in both domestic and international arbitration proceedings, demonstrating a strong command of institutional rules, including LCIA, ICC, SIAC, and UNCITRAL, as well as ad-hoc arrangements.
Notably, she has defended multi-million pound awards, managed complex commercial disputes, investor-state disputes, and represented clients before the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts.
She is a robust and experienced oral advocate and is known for her meticulous and forensic approach to cross-examination. She maintains a keen academic interest in the law.
